We all start out as strangers in this world. Then we meet someone with whom we get to share something special. For days, months, perhaps even years that seemed endless, we were in love. Then, as if from a dream, we wake up and find that things have changed, and we are strangers again.

Finally, in desperation, we stared hard into those eyes that once looked at us with wonder and meaning. “Strangers Again” is a 1991 song performed by the 80s pop band Cinema which started in South Africa. The song is featured in three separate albums of the band, namely, Worlds Apart, From a Whisper to a Scream, and Now & Then.
Cinema had several hits that included “Dancing Away With my Heart”, “One Look in Your Eyes”, and “The Fire of Love”. During their 1997 tour of Southeast Asia, they managed to score a number one hit with “Strangers Again”. Soon after completing the tour, the members of Cinema decided to go on a hiatus.
