With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, let’s take a look at one of the songs that best describes the feelings that seem to overflow whenever this special day is celebrated every year.
“Valentine”, with Martina McBride on vocals and Jim Brickman on piano, has come to be known in recent years as among the official Valentine’s Day songs. This isn’t really surprising given its lyrics.

In the second part of the song, there’s a line about a love that one has been waiting for a long time and that even in one’s dreams, loving that someone will never be enough.

With this song playng, who wouldn’t fall in love?
So go ahead and let your heart lead the way. After all, it’s Valentine’s Day.
Oh by the way, this song is sometimes referred to by some as “My Valentine”, perhaps to give it a more romantic touch. The official title, though, is “Valentine” which is just as romantic.
