Love comes into our lives in many different ways and forms. In many instances, however, fate asks us to make that crucial first move. It may seem difficult, but one five-letter word can start it all.
Coz love begins with one hello
The hardest part is over
Now it’s easy letting go
One hello is how it starts
Of course, there’s always the chance that your “hello” will not be welcomed. As in everything in life, love involves taking chances, and you could either win or lose.
Its a chance you’ll take
It’s a chance you’ll win
If someone’s gonna find you
First you gotta let them in
Fear will always be there, but if you know that what you ffeel is real, it will be strong enough to help you move forward in love. Continue to be brave, but stay true to yourself.
If you’re not afraid
Of what you feel
Then try and keep it simple
But try and keep it real
In the end, love should never change you from what you really are. Acceptance is never easy, even for people seriously in love. This is why some relationships eventually break up. Yet, goodbye is hardly the end. In life and in love, things come in circles.
And if being real means
Means you’ll some day say goodbye
Remember my friend
Goodbye’s not the end
It’s a circle you know
Interested in someone but don’t really know how to start? Listen to Randy Crawford’s simple advice here:
“One Hello” is from the 1981 album Windsong by jazz and R&B singer Randy Crawford. The song was a hit but was not enough to capture a spot in the music charts. Randy herself, despite being an American, did not make it big on US shores as a solo artist.
Randy achieved greater success in the UK where five of her songs landed in the Top 20. This included “One Day I’ll Fly Away” which went all the way to number two. Her UK popularity reached its peak in 1982 when the Brit Awards reecognized Randy as Best British Female Solo Artist.
