That’s actually the title of an old song originally sung by the late Michael Jackson. At the time, he was only about six years old but already the lead singer of the singing group, the Jackson 5.
Just like Michael, music has played a significant role in my life. It has served as my guide and at the same time my inspiration. This proved to be especially true during my teenage years and even during my early days as an adult when problems would come in and put me in difficult situations.
Friends and relatives can let you down, and even leave you all alone when you’re at the lowest point of your love. Not music, for it will always be by your side. The melody and the lyrics can help mend a broken heart, inspire you to do great things, or simply give you that warm and wonderful feeling.
I know that this is not an uncommon experience and that many people out there actually share my sentiment. This is what this site is about — my journey with music.
